Public Education

• Teachers should not need to choose between the health and safety of themselves, their families, and their classrooms when teaching in the fall or the future.

• We need to redo the school funding formula to be equitable and no longer based on property tax.

Environmental Justice

• A wider spectrum of micro particulates in our water supply should be banned.

• It should be easier for people who choose to be energy self-sufficient to do so affordably. 

• Solar and wind power should be encouraged in the region. 

• Fracking has no place in our public parks.

Healthcare

• Healthcare is a right not a privilege. 

• Cost caps should be put on more prescription drugs.

• We need to put a stop to surprise out-of-network procedural expenses.

Digital Privacy

• Facial recognition software has no place in a free society.

• Digital companies need to be held accountable in how they track their users.

Civil Rights

• None of us are truly free until we are all free.

• Black Lives Matter.

• The bipartisan Fairness Act should be passed to provide non-discrimination protections to LGBTQIA+ people not just in employment, but in housing and access to goods and services.
